Upon the Isle of Draco Myst sits many wondrous things, from the towering mountains to the West to the dense forest of trees that populate the center. If one looks hard enough, they will see the dragons that inhabit the Isle along with those sworn to protect them; The Darkstalkers. Sitting on the eastern coast of the Isle is the small port town of Providone. Comprised mainly of small businesses and farmers, it is the first place visitors are brought to when they come to the Isle, if they can find the Ferry Man. It is also here that one will find the Darkstalkers Tavern, the public meeting place of those people who live upon the Isle.
Upon finding the building, you realize that this Tavern is not like any other Tavern you have seen. Before you, situated neatly on a corner lot, sits a large Victorian mansion, its intricately decorated, wide double doors staring down at you from a porch that wraps around the building and out of sight into the back. Along the porch, in the chairs, or on the swings, you can see numerous people holding drinks, conversing, or showing gratuitous amounts of public affection.
Moving your eyes away from the lovers, they travel upward above the front door, meeting a simple sign announcing you WELCOME, but you cannot stop there. Up and up your eyes go, looking up the pointed tower straight above the door that rises sixty feet into the air, adding three more floors above the main. With a small amount of neck bending, you can see a similar tower on both the right and left sides of the Tavern as well.
You should go in and see if what they say about the Stalkers of the Dark is true? Age-old, trusted, and friendly. The soft yellow and white glowing from the candle lit windows only reinforces this is your mind. The sound of laughter suddenly finds its way to your ears from inside, soothing you even further, convincing you that this just could be the place to stop for a drink.
What's that smell? Is it home-made food?
Come on in and find out.
